List of Racing Go Karts Manufacturers Suppliers and Brands
A go-kart, also written as go-cart (often referred to as simply a kart), is a type of sports car, open-wheel car or quadracycle. Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from non-motorised models to high-performance racing karts.
Go-carting, or simply “karting,” is both a popular amusement park activity as well as a lead-in to automotive racing, in addition to being a competitive adult activity in its own right. Done on both indoor and outdoor tracks, with both electric and gas-powered vehicles, the sport has even spawned variants such as dirt track racing. It developed both in America and Europe in the 1950s and ‘60s and today is popular in many regions of the world.
Racing is segregated by engine type in addition to age group and skill level. For this reason, many kart manufacturers sell complete chassis sans engines and wear items (tires). Manufacturers of go-carts for amusement concessioners will often provide entire assemblies, usually with a choice of powerplants. Although not listed here, there are a number of manufacturers that make engines that are used in karting. Among them, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Rotax, DuroMax, and Titan are some of the prevalent names on the racing scene.
Many kart manufacturers participate in the competitive aspects of racing, with representation in many of the events and contests that take place at the local and regional levels. Hobby racing is also encouraged for folks just looking to have a little fun.
Through the establishment of international sanctioning bodies such as the CIK-FIA, racing standards have been set and go-kart manufacturers have constantly aimed to push the boundaries of go-kart racing. From new and improved frames to innovative aerodynamic features and safer design, the motorsport of go-karting has steadily evolved.
In today’s day and age, there are a multitude of kart manufacturers located across the globe – each having their own heritage and bringing something unique to the table. Let’s further explore the ultimate list of the best go-kart manufacturers and brands. Please note that the go-kart brands in this list are ordered alphabetically, not according to rank.

In ’84 Jorn Haase won the World Championship title in Formula K.
After 18 years of racing at top level, in ’91 he started manufacturing racing chassis, immediately catching the attention of the international karting world.
In ’93 he won the Manufacturers World Championship title in the top class – Formula Super A – entering the karting history as being the first driver to win two titles, one as a driver and the second one as a manufacturer.
In ’94 new drivers were engaged, but the results stayed unchanged and the new-born Haase took its second World Title.
The long racing experience, the ability, the passion, the professional skill, the continuous technical research and innovation and the most severe quality control made the company grow quickly and, year after year, important wins were obtained all over the world.
In ’95, a new department to manufacture karting engines is created and this leads to a turning point at Haase: new and substantial investments are made in new technology and machinery, skilled personnel and modern premises that better suit the new requirements, but always keeping a careful eye not to alter the reality of the company: a small bright jewel among karting giants!
Alpha Karting celebrated its 40th year in business during 2017, making the brand one of the oldest in the business. 2017 was a milestone year for the company, as it was acquired by Group GTME, the French holding company that also holds controlling interest of SODIKART. Following the acquisition, the companies have entered a technical collaboration and manufacturing agreement where ALPHA Karting Race Chassis will be designed and manufactured in the SODIKART advanced manufacturing plant. This technical collaboration has already produced the new ALPHA TIGER 40 chassis, using proven technology form SODIKART. The results of this are already being seen at the podium.
Anderson Karts was born with the pure passion for Karting by its founder Russell Anderson. Emigrating from New Zealand to the UK in the late 70’s to work with the late great Martin Hines who he enjoyed a true friendship.
In the early years concentration was focused on engine preparation to the highest level with success on the World stage was enjoyed with names synonymous in the Superkarts. Martin Hines, Lennart Bohlin, Wade Nelson, Perry Grandstra, Tim Parrot and Trevor Roberts are but to name a few Champions of the early era.

Intrepid karts just magically appear from somewhere. I would not be surprised if Rodney Berryhill is making them in an Italian-sounding town in Oklahoma.
